1940's manor house

At the end of a quiet meandering drive sits this lovely house built in the 1940’s. It is now home to a young, growing family. The goal was to enhance the existing architectural beauty, while adding interesting elements that are simultaneously updated as well as timeless.

Custom made iron gold leafed sconces in the entry hall add a distinctive quality to the space. The hand painted floors in the entry hall are an exciting element that work in tandem with the rest of the design. Lovely fabrics and individually designed custom woven rugs, surround each room with warmth and substance.

In the den, charcoal walls were glazed, and the caramel woodwork was combed to give a bamboo effect. Vintage lighting and antique pieces add depth, and original artwork makes this room truly one of a kind.

Inviting colors and strong design all contribute to the unique environment. The hand painted walls of the dining room reflect the indigenous plant life growing on the property, bringing the outside in with an elegant effect.
